According to Japanese scientists, the suggested pH value of ionised water used as a preventive measure should be between 8.5 and 9.5 and the ORP oxidation-reduction potential should be from -150 to -250 mV.

How much alkaline water should I drink and in what way?

For prevention, drink alkaline water every day instead of tap water in the amount of 30 ml per each kilogram of your body weight or an average of 2-2.5 litres daily. It is best to drink water 30 minutes before or 1 hour after your meal. It is recommended to drink the first portion (even 2 cups) in the morning before breakfast. It is important – every day we should drink an average of 2-2.5 litres of water. Just water. It affects all body functions. Metabolic processes and various chemical reactions take place in the fluids of our body. All the nutrients necessary for our bodies are supplied and metabolic products are removed with water.

However, these beverages heavily acidify our bodies (pH = 2.7-3.5), destroying the growing child’s body and creating favourable conditions for the development of diseases.
